    Monel 400 Wire is resistant to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking in the distinctive conditions. Moreover, it is superior corrosion resistant in reducing conditions, though bad in oxidizing mediums. It cannot be used in oxidizing acids like nitric acid and nitrous. It might be corroded in the molten sulfur at temperatures over approximately 500oF. It causes resistance to the alkalis, salts, water, food items, organic materials and natural conditions at room and elevated temperature limits.

     

    The resistance to corrosion Monel 400 Wire causes almost similar resistance like nickel metal however with the large working pressures and temperatures. It offers low cost due to its excellent machining character.
