Multi-purpose service spray.A multi-purpose penetrating and lubricating product that breaks through rust and corrosion, displaces water and cleans away scale and dirt.CRC 5-56 is based on a paraffinic oil and a multiple organic inhibitor system that prevents rust and corrosion by forming a continuous protection barrier against water and oxygen.

CRC Freeze 75
Application instructions:
KONTAKT CHEMIE Freeze 75 is used for the location of thermal faults in electrical equipment. For this purpose the piece of equipment being tested is switched on. If a relatively long period of operation is expected before faults occur, the warm-up phase can be accelerated using a hair drier. When the equipment malfunctions, suspect components are purposefully sprayed with Freeze 75 and changes in operation of the equipment are observed.
Most of the time a technician has a good idea of the parts that can be responsible for the faillure. One by one, these components are sprayed. By cooling down the damaged component, the failure will disappear. The equipment starts again to function normally. A faulty component can quickly be located by this method.
KONTAKT CHEMIE FREEZE 75 can be used for the shrinkage of small components. In trials it has been possible, for example, to fit ball bearings of 30 mm outside diameter into transverse press fits. In moist air an ice coating is formed on the surface during cooling. This ice coating is washed off, before the part is fitted, by using, for example, KONTAKT CHEMIE KONTAKT WL or another water-miscible solvent.
Sticky substances such as chewing gum become hard and friable when sprayed with KONTAKT CHEMIE Freeze 75. They can then be pulled off fabrics without difficulty. Release papers on self-adhesive foils can also readily be removed after a brief spraying. Freezing with KONTAKT CHEMIE Freeze 75 is also suitable for the handling of soft rubber or histological sections.
Components can be immersed in a small supply of refrigerant. Well-insulated small beakers of thick-walled Styropor® (polystyrene) are suitable as containers. These can be made, for example, from the used safety packaging of glass bottles.
When soldering with electric soldering irons, sensitive components can be protected from overheating.
KONTAKT CHEMIE Freeze 75 does not attack ordinary materials. However, parts which have a sensitive reaction to rapid changes of temperature must not be treated with the product. Freeze 75 evaporates completely. In a high humidity, dew is deposited which freezes into ice and then forms a whitish coating which disappears of its own accord.
Using the procedures described, KONTAKT CHEMIE Freeze 75 is absolutely safe from a health standpoint. The freezing agent must not however be sprayed into flames. If it should be, it would decompose into very toxic substances. In our experience there is no risk of when it is used on operating electrical equipment in normal use in the electrical industry. However, because different experts give differing assessments of the ignition behaviour we recommend that you use the non-flammable KONTAKT CHEMIE Freeze 75 Super in areas where there is an increased risk.
KONTAKT CHEMIE FREEZE 75 can cause frostbite to the skin. It is therefore not suitable for the treatment of sporting injuries.

4. DIRECTIONS
Spray in light, even films to lubricate and protect metal surfaces. For electrostatic spraying, addition of polar solvents (butanol, nitropropane, ...) may be necessary.
Apply liberally and allow to penetrate to free rusted parts. Full penetration may require several hours.
To displace moisture, spray wet surfaces until run-off is clear and moisture-free.
To be removed by solvent cleaners (CRC Industrial Degreaser, CRC Fast Dry Degreaser, ...) or alkaline degreasing before surface treatment.
For application of CRC 3-36 in dipping baths, customers should take care to stir from time to time (to distribute small amounts of deposits) and to prevent excessive evaporation of solvent.When stable emulsions have been formed, the bath should be emptied and cleaned, and the product replaced.
Do not use on energized equipment. Use in a well ventilated area.

CRC Copper Paste Antisieze Compound

High temperature anti-seize lubricant.
CRC Copper Paste is a soft, copper-coloured paste, based on micronised copper powder and synergistic anti-oxydant, anti-corrosion and anti-wear additives suspended in a premium grade stable oil. It is an effective anti-seize formulation, preventing metal-to-metal contact, seizing, galling, and fretting corrosion.

The surfaces to be treated should be clean, dry and grease-free. Wirebrush scaled parts and clean with an oil-free solvent like CRC Industrial Degreaser or CRC Fast Dry Degreaser.
A thin, even film should be applied either by spraying or by brushing.
Assembled parts (gear teeth, screws, ...) can slowly be put in motion.
Avoid mixing with other products.
Test before use on plastics or rubber.
Do not use on energised equipment, oxygen systems or in presence of acetylene.
Use aerosol only in ventilated areas.

Crc Rust Remover
1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION of Crc Rust Remover
Scale and rust remover concentrate.
CRC Rust Remover is a phosphoric acid based concentrate used to remove rust and to clean metal surfaces. It cleans tarnish, oxidation, stains, fingerprints and scale from iron, steel, copper, brass and aluminium.
2. FEATURES of Crc Rust Remover
Excellent wetting capacity on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Contains an inhibitor to reduce the attack of the metal surface and to prevent the formation of hydrogen.
Economical concentrate.
Can be diluted with water to any concentration needed (see Directions for detailed information).
Specifications : meets the performance requirements of Mil-C-10578 (type III).

4. DIRECTIONS for use of Crc Rust Remover
Heavy rust and scale (ferrous metals) : dilute concentrate with 3 parts water. Metal should be immersed 20 minutes to 1 hour. Remove and rinse metal with water and treat immediately with CRC 3-36 for water displacement and corrosion protection.
Heavy corrosion (non-ferrous) : dilute concentrate with 7 to 10 parts water. Metal should be immersed 20 minutes to 1 hour. Periodically check non-ferrous metals. Remove and rinse with water. Treat immediately with CRC 3-36 for water displacement and corrosion protection.
As a metal cleaner (ferrous and non-ferrous) : dilute concentrate with 15 to 20 parts water. Metal may be immersed, brushed or wiped until the desired brightness is obtained. Rinse with water and treat immediately with CRC 3-36 for water displacement and corrosion protection.
Heating (up to 65°C max.), agitation or wiping will speed up cleaning action.
Quicker results are obtained by prior removal of oil and grease, using CRC Industrial Degreaser or CRC Fast Dry Degreaser.
CRC Rust Remover is mildly acidic; therefore, reasonable care should be taken. Rubber gloves and protective goggles are recommended.
Equipment used must be made of acid resisting material such as stainless steel, wood, rubber, plastic, glass or ceramic.

Quick dry non-chlorinated cleaner.
A fast drying, powerful degreasing solvent blend free of 1,1,1-trichloroethane or other chlorinated solvents. An innovative solvent blend that contains no chlorinated solvents and no ozone-depleting components. CRC's Industrial Degreaser is excellent for use where rapid turnaround is necessary and low flash point solvents can be used. Apply liberally and allow excess to run off. Air dry or dry with absorbent cloth. Repeat if necessary.
Use extension tube for hard-to-reach areas.
In dipping applications, agitation accelerates cleaning. Dip tank should be covered when not in use to avoid undue evaporation.
May also be used by wiping with a clean rag or brushing.

CRC ALU HT is a high temperature paint based on silicone resins and active aluminium pigments.Alu H.T. is designed to build a hard lasting finish that will not burn off, chip or peel at high temperatures.

4. DIRECTIONS of use for CRC ALU H T
Shake aerosol can very well for at least one minute after agitator ball is free. Stir or mix bulk product well to obtain a homogeneous dispersion. Repeat frequently while using.
Apply to a clean, degreased, dry surface for best results. Remove rust and scale with a wire brush.
Apply in light, even coats; best results are obtained with 2 lighter rather than 1 heavy coat. Additional coats can be applied after 15-30 minutes.
Complete curing occurs during use, typically after 1 h @ 200°C or 45 min. @ 250°C.
When spraying is finished, clean aerosol valve by turning can upside down and pressing button until only propellant escapes. If clogging occurs, remove button and clean orifice with fine wire.
Do not use on energised equipment. Use in well ventilated area.

CRC ANTI-SPATTER
1. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Welding spatter prevention and release.
CRC Anti-Spatter provides a quick, easy way to prevent adherence of spatter to metal surfaces during welding and eliminates the need for chiselling, grinding or wire brushing after welding. It prevents the obstruction of automatic and semi-automatic welding equipment.
2. FEATURES

Increased stability of the arc, ensuring free gas flow.
Non-silicone heat resistant barrier.
Long-term anti-adherent effect.
Easy removal of welding spatter by brushing.
Economical use, due to its thin film performance.
Based on non-flammable solvents.
Contains effective corrosion inhibitors to protect treated surfaces and equipment.
Aerosols are equipped with the 360°C (upside-down) spray valve for added convenience. Pressurised with high purity CO2 , giving an active product content of over 97%.

4. DIRECTIONS
Apply a thin, even film on the surfaces to be welded.
Spray into the welding nozzle before starting and re-apply as required.
Spatter can be wiped off with a cloth or by tapping the nozzle on the side of the bench.
Residual product film may be removed by CRC Industrial Degreaser or CRC Fast Dry Degreaser.
Provide normal ventilation during welding.
