Features of Inconel Rod:
- Superior resistance to sodium hydroxide solutions, chloride stress corrosion cracking.
- As with austenitic stainless steels Inconel 601 can be sensitized to intergranular corrosion in some aggressive media after heating in the temperatures range 540ºC - 760ºC.
Applications of Inconel Bar
- Thermal processing baskets, trays, fixtures, radiant tubes, muffles, retorts, flame shields, and electrical resistance heating wires.
- Thermocouple safety tubes, process heaters, condenser tubes and catalyst supports
