Model NO.:450RP Grade: RP (Regular Power) Application: melt scraps, DRI, etc. by arc energy Applicable Nipple NO.: 241T4N/241T4L/241T3L/273T3N
RP Graphite Electrode is mainly made of common Cacined Petroleum Coke, Graphitized in lower temperature. With its higher resistivity, larger CTE value and weaker thermal shock resistance ability, RP graphite electrode allows lower current density that pass through the furnace.
RP graphite electrode can carry current density lower than 17A/cm2 which is mostly used in regular power electric furnace for
- steelmaking
- silicon smelting
- yellow phosphorus smelting
- other smelting application
Features
Low resistivity
Good conductivity
Low ash
Compact and uniform structure
Good oxidation resistance
Mechanical strength
High current carrying capacity.
Outstanding resistance to breakage.
High resistance to oxidation and thermal shock.
Model NO.:600HP Grade: HP (High Power) Application: melt scraps, DRI, etc. by arc energy Applicable Nipple NO.: 317T4N/317T4L
HP graphite electrode is basically made of calcined petroleum needle coke and coal tar pitch, to be used in high-power electric arc furnace for steelmaking or to refine steel in ladle furnace that withstands current density of 18-25/cm2.
It is an important conducting material for electric furnace steel-making that releases electric energy in the form of arc to heat and melt furnace burden. Additionally, KFCC HP graphite electrode can also be used as conducting material to smelt yellow phosphorus, industrial silicon, abrasive material and etc.

Model NO.:700UHP Grade: UHP (Ultra High Power) Application: melt scraps, DRI, etc. by arc energy Applicable Nipple NO.: 374T4N/374T4L
UHP graphite electrode are mostly made of 100% high-specification needle coke. Compared with HP and RP grades, UHP electrode requires highest technical expertise in each of the main process steps in making them, particularly baking, extrusion and graphitizing. The electrodes come with a wide range of sizes, but diameter of 600mm and 700mm high performance. UHP graphite electrode is often used for ultra high power electric arc furnaces (EAF) with current density greater than 25 A/cm2.
